【非行防止教室「心にブレーキ！」】

今年も川端署のスクールサポーターの先生をお招きして「非行防止教室」が実施されました。

６年生にとって、３回目の非行防止教室です。

今回は高学年を意識した内容を中心に話していただきました。

窃盗罪、傷害罪、強盗罪など具体的な犯罪に対する刑罰が、話の中で多く出てきました。

元警察官の先生から聞く犯罪の話は、より現実味があって、６年生の心に響いたことでしょう。

非行防止教室のテーマ「心にブレーキをかける」を常に心に留めて、自分を支えてくれている大切な人を悲しませないように過ごしてほしいと思いました。

Warm up: Holiday Greetings.
A: “Happy Holidays!” B: “Happy Holidays to you, too.”
“Merry Christmas.” “Happy New Year.” “Season’s Greetings.” Competition and excitement ensued as all classes competed to see who could finish the holiday chant train the fastest. They practiced the A/B conversation around the room. They focused on eye contact and using clear smiling voices.

5 week review. The class was divided into 2 teams and first to raise hand and answer correctly received a point. We covered all classes since the last review in October. Students love the competition and I was thrilled to see first time volunteers trying to show their English knowledge. 

The final point was decided by a good old-fashioned round of “Rock Scissors Paper”.
