【Tomorrow is the graduation ceremony】

Tomorrow is the sixth grade students graduation ceremony.

It's a beautiful and special event for all of the graduating students and their families.

The gymnasium is decorated and ready for the graduation. We want to wish a special farewell and congratulations to all of the sixth grade students.

Good luck in your new life as junior high school students!

【A chance to say goodbye】

Today the sixth grade students played outside in the schoolyard for their last time.

All of the other students had a chance to congratulate them and to thank them.

It is a nostalgic day for the older students who have a chance to say goodbye to everyone.

【"Sekihan"】

Today's lunch was "Sekihan" or "Red rice". This rice is served on special occasions to
celebrate something.

Today, we are celebrating our sixth grade students who will be having their graduation ceremony tomorrow.

We want to wish them Good luck tomorrow!! For their big day!

【給食「お祝い献立」】

◆今日の献立
・牛乳
・お赤飯
・とりの治部煮
・キャベツのおひたし
・てまりふのすまし汁
・すだちゼリー

☆ 今日の給食は明日卒業式を迎える６年生をお祝いする献立です。

もち米に「小豆」や小豆に似た豆の一種「ささげ」を混ぜて、蒸して調理すると、赤くきれいに色づいてお赤飯が出来上がります。

昔から赤い色には魔除けの力があるとされ、おめでたい日の食事として食べられてきました。
給食のお赤飯は、いつも食べているコシヒカリに、もち米を混ぜて作りました。

☆ とりの治部煮です。

とろみのあるたれが、味を引き立てます。

中までホクホクでした。

☆ おひたしはキャベツ、人参、ほうれん草、糸かつおが入っています。

オレンジや緑の野菜の色がきれいなおひたしに仕上がりました。

☆ カラフルな「てまりふ」がきれいな「すまし汁」です。

出汁をよく効かせて作りました。中の具で入っている大根に出汁がよく染み込んでいました。

☆ 6年生が小学校から元気に巣立っていけるよう、願いをこめて「すだち」の果汁が入ったゼリーがデザートです。

とてもさわやかな味わいのゼリーでした。

明後日の献立は「ミートソースとプレーンオムレツ」です。お楽しみに！
