August 6th and 9th are the days of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War 2.

It is a chance for everyone to remember the tragedies of war.

And it serves as a reminder of why we must strive for peace.

Together we can all use these days to hope and pray for World peace.

本日8月6日、原爆が広島に投下されて76年目の夏を迎えました。

また、3日後の9日にも、原爆は長崎に投下されました。

これまでの戦争で実際に使用された原爆は、地球上でこの二つだけです。一つの爆弾で数多くの命が失われました。

わたしたちは、この日を忘れることなく、次世代の子どもたちのために、世界の恒久平和を強く希求します。そして自分にできることを考えて実践したいと思います。

みなさん、共にお祈りを致しましょう。
