4/22火【Dodgeball・Earthquake Drill・放課後教室】

【Dodgeball with the 6^th Graders】

I jumped in real quick in a fast paced exchange of rocketing dodge balls! We jumped back and forth and side to side in the desperate attempt to avoid being struck by the purple ball.

I managed to avoid contact for just a short period of time but I was quickly targeted and I failed to catch the ball! Alas, I was out! It was a lot of fun!

【Earthquake Drill】

Today we practiced the all-important earthquake drill. In Japan there are many earthquakes, and occasionally there is a larger earthquake. The kids demonstrated their preparedness in the event that an earthquake were to occur. They responded quickly by huddling under their desks to protect their heads from falling debris.

Then, everyone demonstrated great teamwork and organization by lining up outside of the school in the open play area to confirm that everyone was safe from the potential earthquake.

【放課後教室】

放課後の活動「スポーツ教室（球技・ダンス）」と「韓国語講座」が始まりました。子どもたちが、いきいきと活動し、学ぶ時間です。

今日の給食「ささみの香味揚げ」】

・牛乳
・ささみの香味揚げ
・おかか和え
・おつゆふのみそ汁

☆ 「ささみの香味揚げ」は、生姜を合わせた出汁にささみをつけておきます。衣をつけてあげることで、ささみがふんわりした食感に仕上がります。

☆ 「おかか和え」は、かつお節の香りが効いています。大根や人参、水菜を合わせました。

☆ 「おつゆふのみそ汁」は、出汁をたっぷり吸い込んだ麩が、とろっとした食感になりました。

明日の給食は「さわらのパン粉焼き」です。お楽しみに！
