【図工『小さな自分のお気に入り』】

今回は、前回の図工の時間に探した「小さくなった自分のお気に入りの場所」に小さな自分の写真をおいて写真撮影をしました。

小さくないと入れない場所や、小さくないとできないことなどをイメージして写真を撮ります。

たとえば靴箱の中に寝そべった自分をイメージしたり、、、

小さければ草むらもジャングルになることに気づきました。

中にはポケットに入ってみたり、人に踏まれそうになってみたり、おもしろい発想がたくさん出てきました。

いつも見ている景色でも、見方を変えれば感じ方は全く違ったものになるということに気づくことが出来ました。

【English】

Today, each student had a chance to speak by presenting their one sentence using “I’d like to…” and they all did a great job! We continued to build on previous language learned by starting the class with questions that they have learned in the past two weeks.

We then moved on to more polite English forms; this time in the context of ordering food at a restaurant. We looked at the phrases “May I have … please?” and “Could I also have … please?” 

The students will research American BBQ and present their orders next week.
