【国語『ちいちゃんのかげおくり』】

教科書も下巻に入り「ちいちゃんのかげおくり」の学習が始まりました。

戦時中が舞台で「ちいちゃん」という女の子に起こったことをテーマとしたお話です。

これからの授業ではまず、作中の言葉の意味調べをする予定です。

タイトルにもなっている２回の「かげおくり」の対比で描かれる状況の変化と、ちいちゃんの心情の変化。

物語の核心について子供たち自ら気づけるように、授業を展開していきます。

【English】

We start by asking some general questions. 

After we took a trip to Bob’s Farmers Market. We thought of market related vocabulary together and then we looked at the difference between "is" and "are" as they relate to asking about prices. 

We briefly looked at the difference between "dollars" and "yen". 

Lastly, we played some more English Shiritori.
