【Math】

We talked about 3 dimensional shapes – cubes and cuboids. How many sides, how many corners and how many edges. We flattened the shapes and drew in the missing sides. We looked at the example of a dice with a puzzle to work out the number on the opposite side, using the rule that it must add up to 7 and a process of elimination.

【English】

We had a great lesson with activities. Starting with charades, we had to pretend to do something (action, verb) or be something (thing, noun). Then, we went around the class asking our friends about likes and dislikes before reporting this information to the teacher. 

Later we played a game of guess who – Is it a girl or boy? Does he/she like ___? It’s ___!

【国語】

スーホの白い馬の学習では、国語辞典の意味調べも取り入れて進めています。

今日は、３の場面に出てくる語彙の意味調べをしました。

その後は、お話の流れや登場人物の気持ちを考えながら読みを深めていきました。
