6/24火【ひき算カードを並べてみよう！】

【中間休み】

全校のみんなが体育館に集まって、ロビー先生のお別れ会を開きました。

児童会本部の６年生が代表でお礼の言葉を伝えて後、みんなで「♪小さな世界」を歌いました♪

その後、先生から温かいメッセージをいただきました。

ロビー先生、今までお世話になりました。

【算数】

「ひき算」の学習に取り組んでいます。

今日は「ひき算カード」を並べて「カード取りゲーム」をしました。

答えの数を聞き、その答えになるカードを探しています。

これからも色々な問題を解いたり、計算カードを活用したりしながら計算力を高めていきましょう！

【Bye Bye for now】

Today was my last class with the kids. It was a very moving day for me. We laughed together as we reviewed some of the language we had learned over the past year and three months. The song the children sang for me will resonate in my heart forever. It made me very emotional.

 I looked forward to every Tuesday I got to spend with the kids. The truly brightened up my life and made me feel so welcomed during my life in Japan. I will never forget their kindness and enthusiasm for English class. Each of them has such a bright future and I hope nothing but the best for each of them. Their smiling faces brought me so much joy and I will cherish all of the memories I have made in my time here at Kyoto Bunkyo.

If possible, I will do everything I can to stay in contact and share pictures, videos, and stories from back in America. I want to continue to foster a sense of creativity and wonder in the hearts and minds of these wonderful children. From the bottom of my heart, I am thankful for every moment. Each year, when I return to Japan, I will make sure to stop in and say help to the kids.

While saying goodbye is never easy, I know that we will have the chance to meet again. At the very least, I will carry a part of Kyoto Bunkyo in my heart for the rest of my life, and I hope that even a little bit of me will be with the kids as they grow into the splendid adults I know they will be.

Thank you again for everything. I will miss you all.

Work Hard, Play Hard, Dream Big, and Always Reach for the Stars.
