肌寒い気温の中、体を温めようと腕をしっかりとふって走る6年生。

自分のペースを大切に、一生懸命取り組みました。

一年生の元気さに負けずに全力で走る6年生の姿が印象的でした。

【算数】

習熟クラスでは、教科書のまとめのページに入りました。

教科書の基礎・基本の問題を中心に、つまづきやすい問題や学習してきた内容の復習を行いました。

来週は、いよいよ教科書から離れて入試問題や過去問、図形、難しい文章問題が解けるよう、練習を進めていきます。

発展クラスでは、発展問題や入試問題を中心に挑戦しています。

答えに辿り着く過程を大切にしながら熱心に取り組んでいました。

【SDGs Focused Immersion】

Today (on 23rd, Friday), Today I got the opportunity to see the students that I have conducted a lesson for previously. I was surprised to see that they instantly recognized me and even remembered most of the content from the previous session. Today I gave a presentation about the 3Rs and SDG to the sixth-grade students. The students showed so much interest and asked many questions. We also talked about how to apply the 3Rs in our daily life. I was delighted to see every single one of them. I am looking forward to our next meeting.

【English】

Today the students learned some Halloween vocabulary and played a Halloween Kahoot! game using their iPads.

For the second activity we played a Kahoot! Game with a Halloween theme. The students tried to answer quiz questions to earn points. Speed and accuracy are important in order to win the game.

We all enjoyed the Halloween themed lesson and had a lot of fun!
