【Snow Again】

It was snowing again outside this morning.

The heaters were on and many of the students were wearing gloves, hats, warm jackets, and scarves. Don’t forget to bundle up to stay warm in this snow weekend!

【今日の給食　1/27】

・牛乳
・丹後のまつぶたずし
・九条ねぎの炊いたん

☆ 今日は、京都府の郷土料理「丹後のまつぶた寿司」でした。

京都の丹後地方で、ハレの日によく食べられるそうです。

さばのそぼろやかんぴょう、錦糸卵など、具だくさんで色鮮やかなお寿司です。

☆ 九条ねぎの炊いたんは、九条ねぎ、人参、油揚げ、豚の肉を合わせました。

京都では煮ることを「炊く」ともいい、「炊いたん」とは煮物のことになります。

来週の給食は「鶏肉の照り焼き」です。お楽しみに！

【うさぎ年の英語絵本】

This year has a new animal symbol: the Rabbit! That’s right 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit!
うさぎ年ということで、1月は、1階廊下にうさぎの人形や、うさぎが出てくる英語絵本を置いています。
