【根っこタイム「漢字、音読、計算！」】

根っこタイムには、音読と漢字テスト、計算練習に毎日取り組んでいます。

朝根っこタイムは音読と漢字テスト。
現在、音読は次の音読タイムに備えて、「早口言葉」にチャレンジしています。音読集に載っている１０の早口言葉が言えるように練習中。

中でも一番難しいのが「向こうの竹がきへ なぜ竹立てかけた 竹立てかけたさに 竹立てかけた」という早口言葉です。この言葉がすらすら音読できるように特訓中です。

音読後は、漢字テストを実施。

漢字ドリルを使い、そこに載っている短文を書きます。自信のない人は、ドリルを見て、テスト範囲の練習を行います。
漢字の力を高めるために、毎日の練習に励んでいます。

昼根っこタイムは、計算練習です。
四則混合の計算が４問、解けた人は挙手して答え合わせをします。

間違った問題は再度計算を行い、全部正解するまで計算を続けます。
１回の答え合わせで全問正解することが目標です。

間違った問題を正答が出せるまで、くり返し計算練習に頑張る６年生の様子が見られます。

Today’s lesson Grades 6^th. “What day do you like?”
The students reviewed the days and months, weather and feelings easily. They practiced pair work asking each other “When is your birthday?”

They enjoyed the weather card memory game and we held writing practice by drawing the weather and writing the word underneath. 

Our language focus was “What day do you like?” “I like Wednesday BECAUSE I have swimming practice” “I like Tuesday because I have English class!” I like Thursday because I have no cram school!” 

The students enjoyed a deeper meaningful question that allowed them to give their reasons and opinions in English.
