【今日の出来事】

2年生は作文の時間に「今日の出来事」というタイトルで直近にあった出来事を文章にする活動を行っています。

作文をした後に、希望者が書いた内容を発表する時間をとっているのですが、その時間はいつもかなり盛り上がります。

2年生はまだ、自分の思っていること、考えたことを文章にして発言することも難しい年代です。

「自身の考え」に比べて、言葉にしやすい「自分にあったこと」を文章にする経験を積む中で、文章を作る能力を育んでいこうと考えています。

Today’s lesson Grades2^nd “When is your birthday?”
Students practiced greetings happily and took turns answering, “How are you?” again and again. “I am good! “I am great!” “I am okay!” I enjoy letting them continue on and on because they never tire of using their English phrases.

We said and repeated the days of the week and the months of the year, going around the classroom asking “When is your birthday?” Then, going through the months until reaching each child’s birthday in English.
