４年生が理科の時間に育てている「キクタニギク」が咲き始めています！

小学校玄関でお花を見て、登校後にうれしそうに報告してくれた姿もありました。

これからも、みんなで大切に育てていきましょう！

【国語】

今日は国語が２時間ありました。

１校時の国語は、説明文「世界にほこる和紙」の学習です。

今日は、言葉の意味調べをしました。

「誇る」「伝統」「繊維」「風合い」などの意味を調べています。

５校時の国語は、図書室で本の貸し出しをした後、百科事典の使い方を学習しました。

調べたい事柄について、百科事典の背から探す方法と、索引から探す方法を確かめています。

【English】

Warm up: Kids asked to their right and left today’s warm up questions: "What’s your name?" "What did you eat/drink today?" "How do you feel today?"

Again, we enjoyed the elementary but cute story of a teddy bear put back together from the garbage. In our body parts visual aid, the students created questions for the body part. "I can walk. What am I?" "Legs!"

Then we had our pair work around the classroom using target language. A: "Do you have 3 eyes?" "No, I don't. I have 2 eyes."

Students could move freely and happily about the classroom making the micro conversation.
