今日は「６年生ありがとうの会」に向けて「王冠作り」をスタートしました。

班長さんに喜んでもらうため「どんな形にしようか」「どんな色が好きかな」と想像しながら作っていました。

「ありがとう」の気持ちを込めたプレゼントです。

最後まで丁寧に、利他の心で仕上げていきます。

【昼根っこ】

音読の練習を行いました。

「外郎売」の音読は難しいですが、みんなスラスラと読んでいます。

集中する時やスイッチを入れるときは、速読の練習が一番です。

常に意欲的に、難しいことも１度チャレンジすることを大切にしてほしいです。

【English "Pleased to meet you." 】

Today we practiced introducing ourselves politely, "Pleased to meet you." "Pleased to meet you, too." "My name is …"
We talked about countries and their flags, kings and queens, sports and our favorite foods and drinks. We also talked about what we are doing while using gestures e.g. eating, drinking.
Then, we asked our new teacher, Paul-sensei, lots of interesting questions such as "What’s your favorite food?" and "Do you like baseball?" 

Paul-sensei was happy to meet all the students and very impressed with their English ability.
