【マラソン・作品展にむけて】

年が明けて、より一層寒くなってきました。

世間ではインフルエンザが流行し、外に出るのが嫌になってくる季節です。

しかし、そんな季節だからこそマラソンは効果的です。

今日も中高のグラウンドでマラソンを行いました。

国語の授業では、作品展で展示する書写作品の仕上げを行いました。

低学年は鉛筆とフェルトペンを使った作品を展示します。

姿勢を正し、いつもより気を引きしめて作品作りに取り組んでいます。

２年生で取り組む書写作品は、漢字とひらがなが混ざったもので１年生の時に取り組んだ物より少しレベルアップしています。

特に「新」という字はパーツが多く、バランスに苦戦している児童もいました。

作品展は来週３０日からです。

この日に向けて準備を進めています。

【English "Pleased to meet you." 】

Today we practiced introducing ourselves politely, "Pleased to meet you." "Pleased to meet you, too." "My name is …"
We talked about countries and their flags, kings and queens, sports and our favorite foods and drinks. We also talked about what we are doing while using gestures e.g. eating, drinking.
Then, we asked our new teacher, Paul-sensei, lots of interesting questions such as "What’s your favorite food?" and "Do you like baseball?" 

Paul-sensei was happy to meet all the students and very impressed with their English ability.
