【学級活動】
今週の「にこにこ会議（学級会）」は、「学級力アンケート」の結果を見ながら、学級の「よいところ」と「これからみんなでがんばっていきたいこと」について話し合いました。
レーダーチャートを見ると、「係」「安心」「仲良し」の項目が全体的に高いです。
これらの項目については、この調子でがんばろう！とみんなで確認しました。
その一方で、全体的に低い項目は、「聞く姿勢」と「学習」です。
この２つの項目を伸ばすために、今の学級の姿を見つめ、これからみんなでがんばりたいこと話し合いました。
まず、２・３人で考えを出し合い、その後、議長団さんがみんなで共有する流れで学級会を進めてくれました。
この話し合いで出た意見をみんなで行動に移しながら、「明るく 正しく 仲良く」より楽しい学級を目指しましょう！

【English Immersion Learning】
低学年は、月に１回、イマージョン学習に取り組んでいます。
今月は、MathとLESの学習です。
Mathの時間は、これまでに学習したことを復習しながら、「たし算とひき算の筆算」の学習をしました。
This week, we held math class and living environmental studies (LES) with Daniel-sensei. Here are some comments about the class.
[Math]
Coming off from last month’s lesson, we practiced telling time in English. Students seemed to have a good understanding of reading the minute hand to tell what time it is. After our review, students practiced counting tens and hundreds. During the rest of the class, students had to do addition using the vertical form. This was a good exercise for the students as they had to remember to add the extra one to the tens place when needed.

また、LESの時間は「ミツバチの成長とくらし」について学習しました。
[L.E.S. ~Living Environmental Studies]
Students also learned about sunflowers, but I also taught them about bees. Students were very curious about the difference between bees and wasps. I hope they won’t be too scared of bees when they see them now. They had so many questions about bees and flowers, that I spent most of my time answering questions. It makes me so happy to see such curious children.
