【こども防犯教室】

鉄道警察隊の方から、鉄道警察隊のお仕事や電車内でのマナーなどについてお話を聞きました。

「危険を感じた時にはすぐ逃げる」「電車内でマナーを守る」「キッズポリスシールを使う」など、大切なポイントを学びました。

お世話になりました皆様、ありがとうございました。

今後も、定期的に登下校時の安全とマナーについて確認しながら、安全とマナーへの意識を高めていきたいです。

【生活科】

あさがおの種の観察をしました。

種の色や形、大きさなどに注目しながら、じっくり観察した後、スケッチしました。

種の形は「～みたい」という表現を使って文を書いています。

「切ったすいかみたいな形」

「すいかの種みたいな形」

「ダンゴムシみたいな形」

「みかんみたいな形」

「切ったりんごみたいな形」

「りんごの種みたいな形」

「石みたいな形」

「ごまみたいな形」など、種の形をよく見て、気づいたことをみんなで出し合い、たくさんの発見をすることができました。

今日観察した種は、来週の生活科の時間に植える予定です。

On Monday this week, we had a math and P.E. English immersion class with Paul sensei.
Here are some comments about the class.

【P.E.】

It was very nice to meet all the new grade 1 students today – bright and energetic! 

We started with our stretch and then played a game of tag. You’re it!

 Later we had a few games of dodgeball, today rolling the ball instead of throwing.

【Math】

As an introduction to the year we practiced counting up to ten.

We also learned how to say too big or too small when I was writing the numbers on the board. 

We counted how many of various things around the room. We also introduced first, second, third and fourth (in line). Very good work!
