土曜日は、１年生のみんなにとって初めての「学びと力の発表会Ⅰ」がありました。

ドキドキしながらも、全員そろって、すてきな音楽発表をすることができました♪

また、代表でスピーチをしたお友達も、練習の成果を発揮して素晴らしいスピーチができました！

【学級活動】

前半は、発表会の振り返りをしました。

音楽発表「♪スイミー」やスピーチのがんばり、他学年の舞台発表を見て思ったことをたくさんのお友達が発表してくれました。

その後は、たくさんのがんばりについて絵と文でまとめました。

この発表会でのがんばりや、他学年の発表から学んだことを、これからの学校生活につなげていきたいです。

後半は、明日の交流会に向けて、韓国の挨拶や国旗などを学びました。

家庭学習ノートに韓国について調べたことをまとめていたお友達がいたので、そのノートを紹介しながらみんなで学習しました。

On Monday this week, we had a math and P.E. English immersion class with Paul sensei.
Here are some comments about the class.

【P.E.】

It was very hot today so we stayed inside in the hall for PE. We learned a game called Kagome which the students will be demonstrating to the Korean students tomorrow, very interesting. Then we played a game of tail tag where we put out cap in our trousers (like a tail) and play a kind of tag. We don’t run, we walk and when we catch someone we say `I got it, here is your cap`. Later we played with the balls – throw and catch.

【Math】

Basic addition. We have some and then we add more, all explained in English. For example if there are 5 cars and 3 more come, how many are there in all? Also we introduced the word increase meaning the number gets bigger and by how much?
