【琵琶湖疏水記念館 見学】

「琵琶湖疏水記念館」へ校外学習へ出かけました。

シアターやプロジェクションマッピング、様々な展示資料、大正時代の岡崎周辺を再現した模型、インクラインの模型などを通して、琵琶湖疏水がどのように造られたのか、そして、京都のまちがどのように変わったのか、たくさん学ぶことができました。

学んだことや発見したこと、驚いたことなどをワークシートに書き込みながら見学しています。

琵琶湖疏水の歴史を学ぶ中で、先人の苦労や努力、情熱も感じることができました。

琵琶湖疏水記念館の皆様、お世話になり、ありがとうございました。

【English "Happy Halloween"】

Warm up again consisted of excited recollections of Sunday’s festival and I was transported back in time to the Autumn festivals of my youth in Catholic School. "What did you do?" "I threw a speed ball." "How fast?" "80 KMPH!" "I caught 18 superballs!"

English: Halloween cards that were used in warm up 3 weeks ago were brought back as the main lesson. We used a sound effect for each card which later helped them easily identify the character on the print. The Halloween story elicited smiles and laughter as the climax revealed a half scary/half funny monster. 

Finally the print allowed a more relaxed atmosphere where students chose the colors for the Halloween character and called it out. Brown Witch!
