Today we introduced the topic of ‘greater than’ and ‘lesser than’. I used the example of raindrops forming ripples in puddles. Bigger puddle, smaller puddle. Small circles inside bigger circles, growing bigger. We then worked through a number of examples.

After warm up, we played tag – this week was ‘walking tag’. We talked about how it was surprisingly energetic, different from our expectations. 

Later, we had a jump rope competition and played soccer.

【学級活動】

7月の学校生活がスタートしました。10日の代表交代集会に向けて、新しい学級代表を選出しました。まずは、現学級代表から感想を一言。

その後、立候補した人の立候補理由を聞き、みんなで投票して新学級代表を選出しました。

【昼根っこタイム】

明後日の音読集会に向けて、音読練習をしました。

『夏の俳句』を音読する練習をしています。スピードに気をつけて完成度を高めました。

【生活科】

木曜日は1年生との七夕集会です。今日は、担当に分かれて、短冊作り・クイズ作りなどの準備をしました。

明日・明後日で仕上げをして、1年生に楽しんでもらえる集会ができるようにしていきます。
