【交通安全教室】

今日は警察署の方を講師にお招きして「交通安全教室」を行いました。

今回の教室では、自転車のルールと、安全に乗るために気をつけることについて教えていただきました。

２年生までは道路の歩き方に関することを教えてもらっていたので、今までとは違う学びがあったことでしょう。

後半では動画を使って、クイズに取り組みました。

実際に起こった事故を再現した映像や、車の運転手から自転車がどう見えているかを知るカメラ映像など、事故防止のために必要な知識を楽しく学びました。

うまく使えば大変便利な乗り物である自転車も、扱いを誤れば事故につながるということを皆が学びました。

【English】

Today we worked on some techniques to recognize if the past tense is being used in English conversations. We saw some key phrases such as the use of “LAST” as it is used in phrases such as “last week”, “last weekend”, and “last year”. We also looked at the use of “AGO”. These are all words that indicate past tense. 

We also discussed what we did during golden week and modeled questions asking about the past. The kids had a lot of questions about Mikoshi and I shared my golden week experience with them as well. In addition to this we looked at the phonics phenomenon of and came up with examples in class.
