【図工『段ボールの形を変えて』】

図工で「立体作品作り」を行っています。

段ボールをボンドが入った水でふやかして、段ボールのままではできない色々な形を作り、乾かします

ボンドが入っているので、乾かすとカチカチに固まり、作品になります。

柔らかくなった段ボールでお皿を包んで盛り上げてみたり、丸めたまま固めてみたり、それぞれの想像力が光りました。

中にはお皿を完全に包んだ状態で乾かしてしまい、中のお皿の救出に苦戦する児童も。

思った以上に段ボールが固くなったことに驚いていました。

ボンドで手がどろどろになるのも、子ども達からすれば楽しい経験の一つ。

みんな楽しんで活動しています。

【English】

Today we started the class by practicing the cheers for the sports festival, singing “We are the Champions” by Queen, and dancing for the sports festival. Also, everyone had a chance to practice their sentences, “I like A, but I don’t like B.” I showed the 3^rd graders how to combine last week’s lesson of “Because” with their reasons for why they don’t like “B.” 

To have a little fun at the end of class, we played more English Shiritori.
