【Morning glory flowers】

This morning, we were out watering the first grade morning glory flowers.

They are the purple, blue and red flowers that grow on a vine.

The flowers are usually blooming in July and August but these are still blooming very late!

Please have a look and enjoy their beautiful flowers near the entrance of the school.

・壬生菜の味噌汁

壬生菜、大根、ねぎの入った味噌汁でした。壬生菜は火を通しても、シャキシャキの食感がおいしです。大根は出汁の中でしっかり煮込んでいるので、やわらかくうま味が染み込んだ大根に仕上がりました。五目豆はお箸でしっかりつかんで、黙々と給食をいただきました。
