【Tonight’s Lunar Eclipse】

Tonight will be the lunar eclipse in Japan. 

The eclipse will start around 6pm and finish around 10pm.
It is a rare astrological event and the next time it will occur in Japan will be in 3 years.

Today at school to prepare for viewing tonight’s eclipse we read a book about space travel and astronauts called “Going to the Moon”. Many of the students were very interested and excited to learn about the moon!

【今日の給食　11/8】

・牛乳
・とりのからあげレモンだれ
・きゅうりの昆布和え
・野菜の味噌汁

☆ 鶏肉のからあげに甘酸っぱいレモンのたれをからませました。レモンのたれに砂糖や醤油も合わせているので、酸味がのあるメニューが苦手な人でも食べやすいです。

☆ きゅうりの昆布和えは、塩昆布で合わせた和え物です。塩昆布は塩味とうま味で野菜を食べやすく調味してくれます。

☆ キャベツと人参の味噌汁です。キャベツは味噌汁に入れることでかさが減って、サラダで食べるよりもたくさんの量が食べられます。キャベツの葉２,３枚で１日に必要なビタミンCの半分がとれるといわれています。

明日の献立は「鮭のムニエル」です。お楽しみに！
