【Today is Setsubun】

Today is Setsubun here in Japan. 

It is a day when we chase the bad spirits out and invite the good spirits in.

At school, members of Event and Game Committee dressed up as Oni, the Goblins/ Devils.

And children threw tissue - balls instead of beans and yelled “Devils out! Fortunes in! “

We sang songs about chasing away monsters. It was fun for everyone.

【今日の給食　2/3】

・牛乳

・チキンカレー

・フルーツカクテル

☆ 今日のチキンカレーは「玉ねぎ、人参、じゃがいも、ブロッコリー、三度豆」のカレーです。

なかでも玉ねぎは、一人当たりの量を一番多く使用する野菜です。

出来上がりはほとんど溶けてしまって、見た目では分かりづらいですが、玉ねぎのうま味や甘味の効いたカレーになりました。

来週の給食は「豚肉のケチャップ焼き」です。お楽しみに！
