【English Class [About Sharks] 】

This week in English class we read a book about sharks. Many of the students were very interested in sharks. In the book it explained about the many different types of sharks and some of their characteristics.

It was a great chance to practice our reading skills and also to learn something new about the many different kinds of sharks that live in the ocean.

【International Food Week [Fish and Chips]  世界の料理「フィッシュアンドチップス」】

This week is International Food Week at Bunkyo. Today we ate fish and chips with barley soup and fresh bread. It was a great chance to taste the food from England. Everyone enjoyed it very much. Special thanks to the students who served it and to the school nutritionist who prepared this delicious international dish!

☆ 今日から４日間は「世界の料理」シリーズです。
１日目は「イギリス」です。

フィッシュアンドチップスはイギリスの大衆料理のひとつです。街角では紙に包まれて売られ、塩やモルトビネガーをかけて食べるそうです。

☆ スコッチブロスは「スコットランドのブロス(スープ)です。

スコットランドでは「冬のスープ」とよばれるほど代表的なスープで、本当はラム肉で作るそうです。体がポカポカにあたたまる健康的なスープです。

明日の給食は、アメリカ合衆国南部の「ジャンバラヤ」です。お楽しみに！
