【サツマイモの収穫】

サツマイモ収穫の時がやってきました。

植えてから約半年がたち、葉っぱもモサモサ茂っています。

全員が軍手をはめて、芋掘りスタート！

手が土だらけになるのもかまわずに、どんどん掘っていきます。

大きなサツマイモがたくさん掘れました。

最終的に、2カゴ一杯分が掘れました。

このサツマイモは給食に加えてもらったり、焼き芋にしておいしくいただきます。

食べるのが楽しみですね。

【English "Happy Halloween"】

Warm up was much like the previous 2 classes. The children excitingly shared their memories of the festival. Did you win a prize? I won a notebook. Did you ride the hamster ball? Yes, I went upside down. Their eyes were alit as they listened to each other’s times and scores.

English: Halloween cards were re-introduced. Is it scary? It’s not scary! They shouted back with confidence. The scary Halloween story produced a few worried faces, but all were laughing by the end. Finally the print elicited smiles a plenty as the children enjoyed the crayon coloring experience of locating the character by sound and calling out the chosen color. “Blue Ghost!”
