【国語「やまなし」②】

「やまなし」には、どちらの場面にも色を表す言葉が多く使われています。

その言葉を抜き出し、何を表しているのか、その言葉が表すイメージを表にまとめました。

５月の場面は、青白、黒、銀など暗く、こわいイメージがわく色を表す言葉が使われていて、魚がカワセミに食べられる厳しい環境を象徴していると感じ取ってくれたのでは……と思います。

一方、１２月の場面は、思わずやまなしが落ちてきて、自然の恵みが感じられます。

このことを表現するために、金や黄金、虹などのおだやかさや豊かさをイメージされる色の表現が使われていることが分かったでしょう。

最後に、ロイロノートに５月と１２月の色を表す言葉を比べて、自分が感じたことをまとめました。

それぞれの場面で、賢治が伝えたかったことを感じることができたと思います。

【English [5 Week-Review] 】

Warm up: "How was your Sports Festival?" "What did you do?" "Who won?" The fun from the weekend carried over into their explanations of the Sports Festival.

We played Tamaire, a basketball game.

There were many colored balls.

The red team won the race!

We divided the class down the middle and they chose team names.

The competition was exiting and they tried very hard to remember the sentences and vocabulary of the last 5 weeks.

"What did you do in summer holiday?" "Can you eat jellyfish?" "No, I can’t." "Does Kyoto have a movie theatre?" "Yes, we do." "Do you live near a movie theatre?" "No, I don’t." They children felt happy and surprised at all the English they remembered and could use.
