過ごしやすい気温ではありますが、スッキリしない天気が続きます。

体調に気をつけて一日一日を過ごしていきたいものです。

【算数】

一億をこえる数の学習が終わり、今日からは折れ線グラフの学習を始めました。

まずは、３年生で取り組んだ「棒グラフ」の学習を活かして、折れ線グラフの読み方を学びました。

時間の経過に伴って、数量がどのように変化するかを表したグラフが折れ線グラフです。

横軸が時間経過、縦軸が変化する数量になることを確認しました。

また、直線の傾きが急な時は変化の様子は大きく、傾きが緩やかな時は、変化の様子が少ないことを示していることも全体で共有できました。

後半は、教科書の折れ線グラフから温度の変化を読み取る練習を行いました。

これからも、理科「天気と気温」の学習とタイアップで指導していきます。

【English】

Today we practiced the difference between the future tense questions of "What are you going to do?" and "Where are you going to go?" in reference to golden week. Both levels did a great job with this. 

The 4th graders also treated me to a wonderful presentation about what the Koto is and then gave a moving presentation of the song Sakura in both Japanese and English.

I was very moved by their performance and it brought me a lot of joy to hear them sing.
