今日は、「同じ読み方の漢字」について学習しました。

同じ読み方の漢字とは、音は同じで意味は違うという「同音異義語」のことを表します。

たとえば、「測る」と「計る」の違いはどうでしょう？

漢字辞典や国語辞典で意味調べをしながら、教科書の問題を解いていきます。

また、同じ音の熟語を２つ使った文づくりにも挑戦しました。

Today we worked on “WH” question words. We learned how to recognize the correct question and how to answer appropriately. We then practiced how to formulate our own questions. 

Homework for this class is to choose three “WH” question words and write their own questions to be asked at our next meeting. 

In the grade 5 class, we also went over the proper procedures for how to respond to the situation if you meet a bear in the wild.
