【朝根っこタイム】

朝の会終了後、今日からスピーチタイムが始まりました。

１年生の学校生活を思い出し、楽しかったことやがんばったこと、そして新年にがんばりたいことをみんなに伝えてくれました。

今年のしめくくりと同時に、新年の抱負を持つことにつながるといいなと思います。

【ハートタイム】

二学期のハートタイムが６時間目に開かれました。

今朝から、楽しみにしている声が聞かれ、図書室へわくわくしながら移動しました。

始まると、すっかり本の世界に引き込まれていました。

ハートタイムのお母様方、ハートフルなすてきな絵本を読み聞かせしていただき、ありがとうございました。

【English】

Warm up: A quick talk about Santa Claus and the difference between naughty and nice boys and girls. Finally a very nice photo of Santa was displayed showing a very familiar face.

Next the younger learners joined the competition with Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays in an A/B Holiday drill train around the classroom. The first graders did exceptionally well and impressed the second graders. Happy Holidays to you too!

Our 5 week review was as high tension as ever with children showing a remarkable amount of English retained. We covered all lessons from Halloween to animal habitats to body parts to action words to the Autumn Festival!
