【体育『キックベース』】

体育ではキックベースを行っています。

2年生では「ならびっこキックベース」というアウト・セーフが少し簡単になったルールで行っていましたが、いよいよ本格的なルールでのプレイです。

やはり、課題は『取ったボールをどこに投げるか』です。

ボールが飛んでくるまでに、ランナーがどの塁にいるか、どのランナーをアウトにするべきかなどを考えておかなくてはいけません。

また、フライの処理も練習中です。

高く上がったボールを落とさずにキャッチできれば守備がかなり楽になります。

授業中での練習、遊びの中でどんどんプレイして、慣れていってほしいです。

【English】

 First, we sang some songs with the kids. Today we visited Bob’s BBQ once again and had the students practice how to order food politely in a restaurant setting. We also looked at the cultural differences in how to grab the waiter’s attention. In America, we don’t yell across the restaurant. Instead, we use non-verbal communication in the form of a wave in order to get the waiter’s attention. 

All students did a great job practicing ordering in a restaurant.  We also looked at different ways to talk about color.
