Happy New Year! It’s great to see everyone at school again.
We hope that everyone had a great holiday with their families and got lots of rest. Today is the first day of English class of this year. We hope all of the students can learn a lot in 2022!

This year has a new animal symbol: the Tiger! That’s right 2022 is the Year of the Tiger, so we can see many tiger themed toys, souvenirs, lucky charms and accessories all over Japan. So in today’s English class we read a fantastic book about a tiger who overcame his challenges studying at school.

【社会】

３時間目の社会では、太平洋戦争が始まるまでの流れや戦争中の様子について学習しました。
太平洋戦争に関しては、事前に分かっていることも多く、今日の学習でさらにその知識を深めることができたと思います。
給食の時間に視聴した「歴史秘話ヒストリア」や「歴史探偵」につなげて、今日の学習を進めていた人もいたのではないでしょうか。

【算数】

算数は２クラスに分かれて実施。

６年教室の習熟クラスでは、つるかめ算や流水算など、様々な問題を含んだプリントにチャレンジ。

これらの○○算に取り組んでいたメンバーには、簡単に解ける問題ばかりでしたが、経験不足の人には少し難しかったようです。

明日の解説で、自分の課題が明らかになるでしょう。

【昼根っこタイム】

昼根っこタイムは毎日、計算練習に取り組んでいます。

できた人からすぐに答え合わせをして、間違った問題は直しをする形態で取り組んでいます。
根っこタイム終了時には、ほぼ全員が、全問正解でこの時間を終えています。
